BrigBrigSun SunPress VS. HTVront Auto Press

BrigBrigSun SunPress VS. HTVront Auto Press

Posted by Pandaman on

Hello everyone, Pandaman here. Today, we are doing a comparison review of our SunPress and HTVront auto press. And we will score them on objective facts instead of subjective feelings because I will be biased towards the SunPress.

Feature No.1: The length of the slide out draw

The SunPress has a little bit longer slide-out draw for the safety of your hands and wrist. That little bit will help you not having to stick your hands under the heat plate in order to place the garment. So, the SunPress takes the lead 1 to 0.

Feature No. 2: The heating up speed of the heat plate.

Our SunPress took about 11 minutes and 45 seconds to heat up to 390 degrees and the HTVront Auto Press took about 7 to 8 minutes to get to 390 degrees. So the HTVront takes this one but there is a trivia.

Their heat pipe length inside the heat plate are only 3/5 of ours. So, I think it make sense for them to heat up faster than SunPress. However, with our more densely arranged heat pipe. We will have more evenly heated heat plate. Temperature will not drop by a lot when the heat plate make contact with the garment or material leading to a better result. However, we are competing for the speed of the heating up process so the HTVront Auto Press got one point back. The score now is 1 to 1.

Feature No. 3: Pressure adjustment

To whom that matters to, pressure adjustment is very important. We are offering 6 tiers of pressure adjustment. For sublimation on garment, you can use tier 1 or 2. For DTF, you can use tier 5 or 6. We have test that the HTVront Auto press’ pressure is around our tier 2 to 3. For someone who doesn’t really care about the pressure adjustment, this feature could be excessive and could even lead to confusion. So, it is tie. The score is 2 to 2.

Feature No. 4: Super warranty

We also offer a super warranty for our SunPress with no added price. No matter the reasons that cause the machine to be not operable, we will replace the machine for you during the one year warranty period. No repair, only replacement. All your need to provide is the order number from Amazon or the website and a video showing that the machine is not operable. I feel like this is a better warranty policy. So, 3 to 2.

So, the final score is 3 to 2. However, I think the HTVront auto press is also a great machine. We just took different approaches. We provide pressure adjustments to anyone who needs it and they choose not to for the ease of operation. They choose the faster heating up process instead of us choosing the more densely layout of the heat pipe inside the heat plate. And it is for you to decide which one to get. Thank you for watching and I will see you next time!
